I don't bet on pre-season games, so I am looking at the lines for Week 1. So far, the lines that look the most appetizing to me are:
Jets -1 @ Redskins
Dolphins -10.5 vs. Texans
Patriots +2.5 @ Bills
What do you guys think of these early looks? The Patriots game looks less appetizing than the first two. In fact, I may bet on the Jets with the money line to avoid a push (it's at -115).
I think the Dolphins have something to prove because they feel as though they should have made the playoffs last year and didn't. It's difficult for me to imagine this game not ending in a blowout ... of course, anything can happen, but I think a win by a couple touchdowns is the most likely scenario.
As far as the Jets go, I think that they should be 3 point favorites based on each team's production last year and their off-season transactions.
